    What a fucking shit demonstration at 1:30 +, if the teacher lets the students move in slow motion and blocks all attacks and than hits in normal speed - everyone can show such bullshit - why not teaching the real principles of systema and notsome senseless slow motion drills -.-

      @carpejkdiem 10 лет назад

      I agree 100% with you at the 1:30 mark. It's a typical dick move. Anybody that cheats a drill like that and gets there nuts ridden strikes a primal nerve in me. It breads students and followers to suckerpunch you like that. I'd rather actually fight phukrs like that then train with them. It's a bummer there's these types in the arts. Ruin people's experiences.

    everything you say is true, but fighting bigger opponents is not just physics. the bigger influence is human anatomy. there are certain points on a human body that cant be made tougher by training. no matter how strong and big the opponent is, he will always sucumb to the weakest points on his body because we are all HUMAN. those points are thought in all martial arts and some of those are: jaw, solar plexus and neck. any punch or kick that lands on these points are effective regardless of size.

    Well in case u wana know, most Chinese martial art are designed to be effective against bigger opponents, its due to the fact that Chinese back in the old days are pretty small when comparing to invaders from various ages. Make no mistake though, its always harder to fight someone bigger, and the techniques aint fail proof, u need to b good for it to work, but from a design perspective, most Chinese MA are designed with a bigger opponent in mind.

    Human body is not a big chunk of flesh that can be modelled by using only Newton mechanics, it is a biological system having weaknesses that one can exploit to be at an advantage over bigger opponents.

    i don´t think so. physics are important, but your oponent is not only an object. There are social components and human reactions. MAs that look at this difference are better for physically inferior people. you can see the effect of the punch. the stike is not only based on mass. the man is surprised that her strike hurts.

  • @NYWAORCANZ
    @NYWAORCANZ 11 лет назад

    It works well. Your strikes must be outside their field of vision.Exsample a throat punch from underneath their vision field.Keep strikes small so they can not read your movements You can strike their arms and fists when they punch at you and you can learn the ballistic strikes for the sides of their rib cage where there is no muscle protection. You can learn to strike at the knees which almost no one knows how to protect. I find Martin Wheeler an excellent teacher

    When you learn how to defend yourself, you learn how to defend yourself against any kind of opponent; Being smaller isn't a challenge, being very tall neither, see Instructor Ryabko here must be 5.5 still i wouldn't try and steal his wallet. I'm 5.7 myself and 've always been granted with better impulse, better mobility and penetration.
